An ISSN is an 8-digit code used to identify print and electronic periodicals (newspapers, journals, magazines).

An ISBN is a 13-digit number that uniquely identifies books, eBooks, audiobooks and similar items.

For textbooks, the bookstore will list the ISBN with the book listing in the textbook search.
