You can locate books, ebooks, videos, DVDs and CDs by using the library's online catalog, MARLO. You can access MARLO from the library homepage or by clicking here.

MARLO features four search options:

  • keyword: basic word search, similar to online search engines
  • subject: search by topic - more specific than a keyword search
  • author: last name should be entered first if you choose this option
  • title: title of item

Choose which type of search you'd like, and then enter your search words. Or, you can click on the Advanced Keyword Search link to add more limits to your search, like type of material or language.

MARLO is the online catalog for libraries in Marion County. You can request books from the public and college libraries that are part of MARLO and they will be delivered to the library for you to pick up.

If you are looking for journal articles, MARLO does not include these. You'll need to look in our databases or use Summon, which searches all databases.
