Hello!

You can search the MARLO catalog by an author search on the name of the composer/performer or a title search on the title of the work/album title. If you know the form (e.g. sonata) or instrument(s) (Flute, piano, etc.) you can do a subject search on those as well. If you go to our advanced search you can select author, title, subject or keyword from the drop down menu. Under "Add Limits" you can choose "Musical CD" for sound recordings only or printed music if you are looking for scores only.  Finally, if you go to the gray bar in the right upper corner, you will see "Jump to:" next to a (More searches) drop down menu. Pull down the menu and choose "LC Call Number". You can search on "M" and then browse, starting at M1 our music material as it appears on the shelfs.

All the music CDs are on the middle floor on the back wall, to the left of the DVDs.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, please let us know - we will be happy to help!

Our online collection also includes streaming and downloadable music services (including Freegal, a free music download service) - here are the links to access those.
